In species like turtles, crocodiles, and alligators, gender is often influenced by the temperature of the developing eggs. It’s called temperature-dependent sex determination. Warmer eggs are most often female. You can imagine the impact climate change is having and we’re only seeing the beginning of it. We lighten things up with another wacky world record.
